About
ClimbBid is a public leaderboard where products compete for attention. Submit your product, choose where you want to rank, and bid your way up.
Most places that put products in front of people are quietly ranked by something you cannot see — an algorithm, an editor, a launch-day scramble, or an ad auction whose prices nobody publishes. You do the work and hope.
ClimbBid takes the opposite position. There is one input: what a founder is willing to pay for a slot. That number is printed next to every listing, the price to take any position is shown before you pay, and the board reorders the instant somebody pays more.
That makes it honest in a way a curated list is not. Nobody has to guess why a product is at the top, and nobody has to ask a gatekeeper to be included.
We read the page and pull the name, description and logo. Nothing to fill in, no account to make.
Each category is its own leaderboard, so a design tool competes with design tools rather than with everything at once.
Every position has a price, and the price is whatever the product holding it paid, plus a step. You see the number before you decide.
Your listing appears the moment the payment clears. You hold the position until somebody outbids you.
Not a review site — we have no opinion on whether a product is good, and a high position means somebody paid for it, not that we endorse it.
Not an auction house. You are buying a placement for a period of time, not bidding on an asset, and nothing is held in escrow.
Not a directory to be buried in. There is one board per category, ordered by one number.
